YUmm..yumm..
Wantan is one of my favourite dishes for breakfast.
As for me, I like to eat wantan cicah with Adabi sweet soy sauce + chili. Ermmmm...soo delicious. I love wantan with or without soup.
Here in Kuching the price is RM3.00.
I think 3 ringgit is quite expensive as per pack is sometimes not enough to satisfy my stomach.
(yes..i know..where is now to find a cheap food??)

Well, I no longer need to buy wantan from stall because I know how to cook by my own. Yes..homemade wantan. The recipe is very cheap and easy to prepare.
The ingredients you must have are:
1. Wantan wrappers
2. Pork/Chicken
3. Shrimp
4. Salt
5. Food seasoning(up to you)
6. Chopped spring onion
7. Mustard greens
8. Cooking oil
9. Pepper
Filing:
10. Blend pork/chicken & shrimp altogether.
11. Mix the no. 10 with salt & food seasoning. Then leave to stand and marinate for an hour.
How to prepare soup:
(This is my style. It is up to your soup as you want.)
12. Heat the cooking oil.
13. Add the chopped spring onion.
14. Then pour some water or you can use chicken stock.
15. Add some salt, seasoning & dash of pepper.
Directions:
16. Wrap the filling inside the popia wrappers.
17. Boil water and cook the wantans. Drain and leave aside. (same goes to the mustard greens)
18. Prepare the soup.
19. Pour the soup into serving bowls, add the wantans.
Now you can serve. If you want you can add some coriander leaves to your soup.
